20 The Countdown
20 The Countdown Magazine chart is compiled and published by Christian Radio Weekly, part of the Westar Media Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The show is written and produced by Zach Boehm. The host is Jon Rivers and it's a Christian Network Services Production. Born in Memphis, Tennessee and reared in the hills of Mississippi, Jon Rivers started his journey in radio while still enlisted in the Marine Corps. After two years in Vietnam, while stationed near Jacksonville, Florida, Jon spun the tunes overnight at WAPE, the "Mighty 690", whose air talent included Jay Thomas of "Love and War" fame from seven to midnight. When he was discharged from the Corps, Jon went back to Memphis and WMPS to do mornings. He then moved to the DFW Metroplex, and the McLendon "Hybrid" KNUS FM, one of the first among the most successful FM stations in the world. With the exception of a stint at KILT in Houston, and a year at CBN in Virginia Beach, Jon has made DFW home. Hope In Anguish
Hope In Anguish Radio is a two part ministry. We have a 24/7 cyber radio station broadcasting from hopeinanguish.com and also a three hour syndicated broadcast show that airs on FM stations across North America and beyond. The Hope In Anguish Radio Cyber station is a revolutionary station designed to reach teens and young adults. Our main listening demographic ranges from ages 12 to 25 with a monthly listening base of 10,000 to 12,000 teens a month. We also air our Hope In Anguish Radio show which tactfully faces issues that are prevalent in youth culture today through honest dialogue. The show is hosted by Teenhopeline, Inc.'s President Joseph Rojas. Joseph came to Christ in the back of an ambulance after suffering a heart attack from a drug overdose. Power Praise Radio is a two hour weekly syndicated radio show dedicated to independent Christian music artists, fans and those who support them. Shawn uses his knowledge of southern gospel history to give the audience a “behind-the-scenes” look at your favorite artists and the songs they sing.
